Tyler to join Riverside Avondale Preservation Board of Directors

We’re excited to share that Tyler will join the Riverside Avondale Preservation Society’s Board of Directors on February 27th.

“The RAP board is elected annually in February by the membership of the organization. The Board Governance Committee nominates candidates and the board approves the nominations prior to their submittal to the membership. Candidates are nominated based on the strategic needs of the organization and to ensure that RAP has geographic representation and input from the various neighborhoods within the District. Board members are comprised of historic district residents and business owners”, says RAP.

During his interview, Tyler shared his interest in joining the board. “My love with the Riverside + Avondale area began while I was in college. Almost a decade later, the passion continues as a local homeowner + community blogger. A number of our friends, young professionals with budding families, are now settling into the area. For our community, it is important to understand that these voices will one day represent the ambassadors for our historical district. I am confident that I am able to represent this voice, while offering my skills to preserve + enhance our neighborhood.”

Our community is only as strong as the members in it. We encourage you to visit www.RiversideAvondale.org to learn how you can become involved.
